LONDRES - "Amour", a palavra francesa para amor, foi votada a palavra mais romântica no mundo em uma pesquisa pré- Dia dos Namorados londrino de experts em língua.
Acirradamente ganha de "amore", a palavra italiana para amor, apesar de que o italiano já tenha sido nomeado a língua mais romântica.
Palavras italianas dominaram os principais lugares na lista das mais românticas.
"Belissima", que é tanto italiana quanto espanhola para "muito bonita", foi votada como a terceira palavra mais romântica, enquanto "tesoro" que também é italiana e espanhola para "tesouro" (como em "mi tesoro"/"meu tesouro") ficou em quarto.
Esta pesquisa foi realizada pela Today Translations que possui cerca de 320 dos linguistas.
Depois do Italiano, eles julgaram que a segunda língua mais romântica era o Francês que está muito a frente do Inglês e do Espanhol juntos em terceiro lugar.
Na mesma pesquisa, foi pedido aos linguístas para decidirem qual seria a frase "eu te amo" que soasse menos romântica em qualquer língua.
O vencedor foi a japonesa "watakushi-wa anata-wo ai shimasu" à frente da galega "rydw i'n dy garu di" e "qaparha", que a empresa apontou ser de Klingon, falado no universo de Star Treck.

LONDON (Reuters Life!) - "Amour", the French word for love, has been voted the most romantic word in the world in a pre-Valentine's Day survey of language experts.
It narrowly beat "amore", the Italian word for love, although Italian was named the world's most romantic language.
Italian words also dominated the top places in the list of most romantic words
"Belissima", which is both Italian and Spanish for "very beautiful", was voted the third most romantic word, while "tesoro", which is both Italian and Spanish for "treasure" (as in "Mi tesoro"/"My treasure") came fourth.
The survey was conducted by London-based Today Translations which polled over 320 of its linguists.
After Italian, they found the second-most romantic language was French, which was way ahead of Spanish and English in joint third place.
In the same poll, the firm asked its linguists to pick the least romantic-sounding way to say, "I love you" in any language.
The winner was Japan's "watakushi-wa anata-wo ai shimasu", ahead of the Welsh "rydw i'n dy garu di" and "qaparha", which, the firm noted, is Klingon, as spoken in the Star Trek universe.
